RICC Gardens and Allotments

Ringsend and Irishtown Community Centre (RICC) garden and allotments takes pride of place to the rear of our centre. It is lovingly cared for by our two dedicated gardeners Jack and Philip, who, apart from making it a beautiful sight, are on hand to assist locals with advice on how best to grow plants and vegetables. Situated in the garden is a dedicated spot called The RICC Reflection Garden, a peaceful retreat from the stresses and strains of modern life where the community can come to watch the clouds roll by and take in the wonderful splendour of nature all around them. Another facet is The Recession Prosperity Garden, winner of the Irish Landscape Institute Award, which has found a home at RICC. Designed by landscape architect Sophie, it includes Irish materials, native plants and even a sand pit. Sophie also runs gardening workshops in the centre to help transform your garden area. With each aspect combined theRICCGardensare a tranquil haven right in the heart of this bustling town.

Bowling Green

The impressive RICC Bowling Green is located at the rear of the centre and is available for practise sessions and games. If you would like a lesson in bowls Ringsend Active Retirement are available to assist you upon request.
